Zenora Lala : Jack and Trace both love these LEGO watches we gave them for their birthday in June (they are twins). Jack's broke after about an hour, and we were with him at the table. I think the manufacurer had not snapped it fully shut perhaps. But it truly was defective and not the result of abuse. We sent it back and within 6 days got a replacement AND our ship costs back. Superb. We have no idea if these are generally sturdy or problematic but after a couple of months now of both boys enjoying their watches we've had no further problems and the watches actually keep time EXTREMELY WELL without a lot of weekly or monthly adjusting so far.
Katy (CO United States) : I bought this watch for my 7 year old lego-maniac. He was excited to put it together in various patterns, but only wore the watch once. (He's worn other standard watches before, so it wasn't the "new" watch syndrome.) After wearing it to school, he came home and said it rubbed and pinched his skin. He didn't have any marks, so I assume it was just an irritant. I'd recommend the watch as a novelty, but don't expect your child to wear it for long periods of time. On the positive, it is very sturdy and holds together nicely, the quality one would expect from a Lego product is definitely there.
